Playstation You know that big space in the back of the PS2 that seems ominously (I may have used that word completely out of context) hollow? Well an independent company has come up with a long awaited expansion to fill the void. What is it you ask? Why it's a modem of course. Hopefully complete with web browser so that the thing is good for internet surfing as well as gaming. But, even if the modem does not ship with the browser, Ergosoft has already liscenced it's browser for use with the system, and will be ready for the release in Japan. Of course, you may expect the modem to be closely followed by the release of a modem and mouse for optimal browsing and IM pleasure. North America can probably expect this enhancement in the fall, or maybe the late summer.
